CLAUDIA & ALE’S ANNIVERSARY SHOOT IN TUFIA: INTIMATE MOMENTS BY THE ATLANTIC

For the second part of Claudia & Ale’s one-year anniversary shoot, we headed to Tufia - a small coastal village win Gran Canaria here volcanic stone meets the Atlantic Ocean. If Roque Nublo felt powerful and elevated, Tufia felt raw, intimate and deeply soulful.

Tufia has a quiet honesty to it. The sound of the sea, the rugged textures of the rock, and the simplicity of the surroundings strip everything back to what truly matters. This session was captured using a blend of digital and 35mm film, shot on Kodak Portra 400, giving their images a soft, organic feel that suited the raw coastal setting perfectly.

There’s something incredibly special about photographing couples after the wedding day. The pressure disappears, the connection deepens, and trust takes over. Claudia & Ale moved through the space with complete ease - quiet laughter, soft embraces, moments that didn’t need direction. That level of comfort is something I never take for granted.

Shooting abroad continues to fuel my creativity in ways nothing else does. Each destination adds another layer to a couple’s story, and being invited back to document love at a different stage is something I feel incredibly lucky to experience. Sessions like this are a reminder of why expanding my destination work is a major focus for me in 2026 - because love stories don’t end on the wedding day.

Tufia gave us a slower, more introspective chapter of Claudia & Ale’s story - raw, romantic, and full of soul.
