BETTY & GRANT AT CAMP KATUR: FESTIVAL VIBES, AN OUTDOOR CEREMONY & THE MOST MAGICAL DAY

Betty & Grant’s wedding at Camp Katur on 22.08.26 was one of those days that just felt completely magical from beginning to end.

I was SO buzzing to photograph this one. Camp Katur is such an incredible place for a wedding because it feels completely different from a traditional venue. Hidden away in the Yorkshire countryside, surrounded by trees and open space, it created the perfect setting for the relaxed, festival-style celebration Betty & Grant had planned.

And the outdoor ceremony… breathtaking!

There’s something so special about getting married outside. No walls, no traditional ceremony room - just your favourite people gathered around you in the middle of nature while you say your vows. It felt intimate, personal and completely them.

The whole day had the BEST festival vibes. From the tipi and all the gorgeous styling to the brass band, incredible food and everyone simply enjoying being together, it felt less like following a traditional wedding schedule and more like one huge celebration.

That’s exactly what I loved about it.

There were so many beautiful little details too, including the florals made by Betty’s mum, which made everything feel even more personal. And Betty in that Alena Leena dress?! Absolutely unreal.

Camp Katur itself was a dream to photograph. Everywhere you turned there was another gorgeous backdrop, but more importantly, the venue gave everyone the freedom to properly relax and enjoy themselves. It had that slightly wild, outdoorsy, summer-festival feeling while still being incredibly beautiful.

Days like this are exactly why I love photographing weddings.

A gorgeous couple, their favourite people, an outdoor ceremony, tipis, pizza, a brass band and a whole lot of love in the middle of the Yorkshire countryside.
