Some love stories just stay with you — and Amy and Vish’s wedding was truly one of those. Their celebration was nothing short of extraordinary: joyful, vibrant, emotional, and bursting with colour and energy.

Their story started during Covid, when Vish asked Amy out for a coffee. She didn’t even realise it was a date — so naturally, they ended up walking through Jesmond Dene, and from there, a beautiful love story began to unfold.

Their wedding was an absolute dream to capture. I absolutely adore Hindu weddings — the rituals, the colours, the joyful atmosphere, and (let’s be honest) the incredible food. Every element is so meaningful and full of life. From the sacred fire ceremony to the intricate details of the mandap, every moment feels cinematic and deeply symbolic.

We started the day at the Hindu temple in Newcastle, a space that felt warm and spiritual, surrounded by family and love. Then we made our way to the Hilton in Gateshead, where the celebrations continued in the most spectacular way. The decor, the dancing, the energy — it was all next-level. Chai Events did an incredible job bringing Amy and Vish’s vision to life and creating a seamless, luxurious experience that felt both grand and intimate.

For me, it’s so important to capture not just what a wedding looks like, but what it feels like. The laughter, the small glances, the big joyous dance moments — all those in-between snippets that make a day truly timeless.
