Alex & Glen’s wedding was nothing short of extraordinary. From the very first moment of prep, you could feel the electric excitement in the air. The bridesmaids were an absolute dream from start to finish, setting the perfect tone for an unforgettable day.

One of my absolute favourite elements of any wedding day is when the couple chooses a venue that truly reflects their style and personality. Your wedding venue is more than just a location; it becomes the stage for your love story. It sets the mood, frames every moment, and influences how your day feels from start to finish.

Dalton Pump House might just be my favourite hidden gem in the North East. This place is an architectural dream — a stunning, historic industrial space with all the modern touches you could wish for. It offers that rare mix of elegant, industrial, and romantic, making it perfect for couples who want something a little bit different. It’s bold, stylish, and totally unique — just like Alex & Glen. I always say that your venue should feel like an extension of you, and Dalton Pump House couldn’t have suited them better.

This day was extra special because I brought my beloved Polaroid I-2 along. I loved using it to capture the prep, ceremony, and even some quick, fun portraits. In my excitement, I handed all the Polaroids straight over to Alex & Glen before I even had the chance to scan them (oops!) — but honestly, I think that’s part of the magic: creating tangible, instant memories that my couples can treasure right away.

The floral arrangements were simply spectacular, thanks to Charlene from Wisteria Avenue. They brought everything together beautifully, adding that extra layer of romance and texture to the day.

I always tell my couples: when you choose a venue that truly represents you, everything else naturally falls into place. The photos feel more authentic, your guests feel more connected, and your day feels effortless and meaningful.
